In this marriage of hospitality and culinary expertise, the design takes its cues from that foundation. The design strategy was to highlight points of engagement through the architectural elements, and use of rich materials, neutral textures, and Italian imagery to connects guests to the heritage of this original Neapolitan street fare.
Design Solution
The hospitality architectural feature elements, glow casting a warm welcoming light on to the guest and staff, as they order or receive their menu items. The pizza oven is the star, prominently located with beautiful tile surround, to call attention to it. Placement of the menu allows for flow through the queue, the space also features options for self-directed kiosk or traditional order placement. The strategic use of live edge wood pair with stone at the main counter area gives a natural feel to the space that communicates ‘fresh’. Natural steal and a rose gold meld together to create the identity color palette. Details and surprises make this design sparkle. The hospitality interactive points have inset product to make the areas look more appetizing, while stilling being food safe. The restrooms have a surprise, an accent wall of brightly colored graffiti tile to reflect that pizza was the original street food.
